Pathways To a Master’s Degree

Learners who successfully earn the MicroMasters® Program Credential in Supply Chain Management are eligible to apply to SCM Blended Master's Programs within the MIT SCALE Network and other universities around the world.

MIT Global SCALE Network

MIT Supply Chain Management (USA) - Blended Masters of Applied Science or Engineering in Supply Chain Management

Combine your MicroMasters program credential with on-campus work at MIT to earn a Master of Applied Science or Engineering in Supply Chain Management degree. Learners who successfully earn the MicroMasters program credential and meet our other admissions criteria, are eligible to apply to the Blended SCM Master’s programs with no GMAT or GRE score required.

MIT Zaragoza Logistics Center (Spain) - Blended Master of Engineering in Logistics and Supply Chain Management

Zaragoza Logistics Center (ZLC) is a research institute established by the Government of Aragon in Spain in partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Zaragoza. Learners who earn the MicroMasters program credential in SCM can apply to MIT SCALE for ZLC’s blended SCM Master’s degree.

MIT Malaysia Institute for Supply Chain Innovation (Malaysia) - Blended Master’s of Supply Chain Management

Malaysia Institute for Supply Chain Innovation (MISI) is as a joint initiative between the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the government of Malaysia launched in 2011. MISI offers a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management and Logistics. Accelerated students will complete 38 credits of coursework at MISI in addition to their MicroMasters program credential in order to obtain their MSCM degree.

MIT Pathway Universities

Learners may also be eligible to apply to a number of partner institutions across the globe to pursue a full Master’s degree. Below is a list of these universities and information on the amount of credit offered:

Arizona State University (USA) – Master of Science in Supply Chain Management

Arizona State University will offer the credential holders of the MITx MicroMasters program in Supply Chain Management the possibility of earning 12 credits of the 30 total graduate credits required to complete the Master of Science in Supply Chain Management.

Covenant University (Nigeria) – Master of Business Administration

Covenant University will offer the credential holders of the MicroMasters program in Supply Chain Management the possibility of earning 6 credits of the total graduate credits towards the completion of the master’s degree in Business Administration.

Curtin University (Australia) – Master of Supply Chain Management and the Master of Commerce (Supply Chain Management)

The MicroMasters program credential in Supply Chain Management can be applied to both the Master of Supply Chain Management and the Master of Commerce (Supply Chain Management) at Curtin University, and in both cases, students will be eligible for Credit for Recognized Learning.

Deakin University (Australia)

Deakin offers credential holders of the MicroMasters program in Supply Chain Management four units’ specified credit towards the completion of these two Master’s degree programs: Master of Information Systems and Master of Business Analytics.

Doane University (USA) – Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA)

Upon acceptance into Doane's MBA program, the MicroMasters program in Supply Chain Management will satisfy the emphasis area and the student will only need to take 21 credit hours to complete their Master of Business Administration degree.

Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (Germany)

Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) will offer the credential holders of the MicroMasters program in Supply Chain Management the possibility of earning 25 credits of the 90 total graduate credits towards the completion of the Master’s degree programs respectively in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen / Business Administration and Engineering (M.Sc.) and Business Management - Supply Chain Management, Logistik und Produktion (M.A.).

Galileo University (Guatemala) – Master in Operations Management

Universidad Galileo (UGAL) offers the credential holders of the MicroMasters program credential in Supply Chain Management the possibility of earning up to 50% of the total credit hours towards the completion of Galileo’s Master in Operations Management (part of UGAL postgraduate programs in Operations Research).

Griffith University (Australia) - Masters of Business, SCM

Griffith Business School offers the credential holders of the MicroMasters program in Supply Chain Management the possibility of earning up to 16% of the total graduate credits towards the completion of the master’s degree in Master of Business program.

Harvard Extension School (USA) – Master of Liberal Arts (ALM) in Extension Studies

Harvard Extension School offers the credential holders of the MicroMasters program in Supply Chain Management the possibility of earning 16 of the total 48 graduate credits towards the ALM in the field of management or sustainability or information management systems.

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Hong Kong) - Master of Science / Postgraduate Diploma in Global Supply Chain Management

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) will offer the credential holders of the MicroMasters program in Supply Chain Management the possibility of earning 9 credits of the total graduate credits towards the completion of the MSc/PgD in Global Supply Chain Management.

Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (Peru) – Master of Engineering and Management of Supply Chains

Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP) will offer the credential holders of the MITx MicroMasters program in Supply Chain Management the possibility of earning 15 credits of the total graduate credits required to complete the Master of Engineering and Management of Supply Chains.

Purdue University (USA) - Master of Science in Global Supply Chain Management

Krannert School of Management at Purdue University offers the credential holders of the MicroMasters program in Supply Chain Management the possibility of earning up to 10 credit hours towards the completion of the Purdue’s Master’s Degree in Global Supply Chain Management.

Reykjavík University (Iceland)

Reykjavík University School of Business offers the credential holders of the MicroMasters program in Supply Chain Management the possibility of earning 26 ECTS credits of the total graduate credits towards the completion of the following Master’s programs:

RMIT University (Australia)

RMIT University will grant academic credit towards the following Master’s programs for learners who successfully earn a MicroMasters program credential in Supply Chain Management:

Rochester Institute of Technology (USA) – Master’s Program in Professional Studies

The Master’s Program in Professional Studies allows learners the opportunity to draw on courses offered across RIT graduate programs. Learners who hold the MicroMasters program credential in Supply Chain Management may apply any time during the year and upon acceptance, will be awarded 12 credit hours of the 33 required for the degree.

Royal Roads University (Canada) – Masters of Business Administration in Executive Management

The School of Business at Royal Roads University (RRU) will offer credential holders of the MITx MicroMasters program in Supply Chain Management the possibility of earning nine of the total graduate credits towards the completion of a Masters of Business Administration in Executive Management.

Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University (Thailand) – Master of Business Administration

Sasin School of Management will offer the credential holders of the MicroMasters program in Supply Chain Management the possibility of earning 6 credits of the total 66 graduate credits towards the completion of the Sasin MBA.

University of Queensland (Australia) – Master of Business

The University of Queensland (UQ) accepts the MicroMasters program credential in Supply Chain Management for credit towards Master of Business (MBus #24 & MBus #32) degree programs. The credential does not guarantee admission to the UQ Master of Business, UQ’s usual application process applies.

Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil) – Industrial Engineering Graduate Program

UFRGS offers credential holders of the MicroMasters program in Supply Chain Management the possibility of earning 12 of the total graduate credits towards the completion of the Industrial Engineering Graduate program.
